TIMES JOGJA, YOGYAKARTA – Combining two sets of superb creativity and talents, Chef Agustono from Yogyakarta Marriott Hotel together with Chef Mili Hendratno from Mil’s Kitchen, present a special collaborative dinner to explore unique local ingredients and blend them into an exquisite 5-course dinner.
Without borders, the two extraordinary talents will be teaming up to create an exciting menus from freshest and local indigenous ingredients. This event will take for two days only, 1 & 2 of October 2021, start from 6.30 PM at casual setting of Taman Sari Bar & Grill, Yogyakarta Marriott Hotel.
Dishes featured at this collaboration will be preceded by an amuse bouche of Tuna Tataki Palembang. Chef Mili Hendratno will present a delicate, gently-seared tuna with a cuko sauce which given a gentle character to the dish and a light seafood starter of Prawn Gohu with dabu-dabu sauce and extravagant local bassil flavored aioli by Chef Agustono will be followed.
Having Smoked Duck Breast as an entrée is always a treat. Served with sukun confit, duck betutu juice and apple palm sugar reduction, will make the dish rich in flavor. Chef Mili Hendratno will set the table to the mood with Wagyu Tajima MB 9+.
This main course is perfectly crafted with some local touchof black cassava, sambal oncom and kluwek beef juice, and definitely transforms the dinner into celebration. To conclude the meal, Chef Agustono will be serving Tape Kopi Susu on the table completed with satisfying coffee ice cream to neutralize all the intakes.
