TIMES JOGJA, JAKARTA – Sekarsari is a small waterpark in town which could be said as one new iconic attraction in Mojokerto. During the two days of its grand opening, this place has taken so much attention from the local community. They mostly come to spend their leisure time with their family and friends.

This place had just been opened on Tuesday (21/6/2022). During its grand opening, there was spotted around 100 people flocking together and enjoying the waterpark. And on the second day of its soft opening they had a round 200 visitors coming to this place.

Mukson Basori (46) a local community said that he came to Sekarsari with his kids. "I intentionally arrived earlier. And I'm ready to dip my self in the pool to spend my day off with the kids who apparently also on their holidays," he said.

Before this place was just a normal public pool with a single pool for adults. For now, this small waterpark has two public pool, one for the kids and the other for adults. The management also added a water slide for the kids to play.

Kurnia Asih, another local community said that she was so pleased that this small waterpark has been reopened after temporary being closed for public due to renovation. "I'm so happy that we have a nice attractions closer to home,"  Asih said.

Meanwhile, though upgrading their facility to a modern one, Sekarsari Mojokerto kept their ticket fare in line. They still offer a super affordable ticket for the local so they could enjoy the nice facilities the small waterpark has for their place. (*)
