TIMES JOGJA, MALANG – The annual calendar event of Malang has been started. Today it will beFestival Heritage turn to go. This festival will be held for 2 days starting from today (25/2/2022) to tomorrow (26/2/2022). Thos will be a good chance to taste and experience the local culture. 

The event will be held at Jalan Kayutangan, Malang. It's one biggest main road in the coty and will be closed just for the event. This was because it was estimated that this event will attract thousands of the local community or tourist attention during the time. 

There will be loads of thing to see. From traditional snack, foods, and beverages, exhibition, some competition, and drumband performance. This will surely be a sight for a sore eyes, especially for you who were eager to se the local culture and experience it yourself. 

The Purposes of Holding Festival Heritage 

Manager in charge of Festival Heritage Drs Imam Abdai said that this event was the idea of PDM Malang and Aisyiah, a local private community in the city. "PDM would like to boost the tourism industry in the city, especially those tourism related to the local heritage," Imam said. 

Imam also said that this event was meant to keep the relationship between the government and the local community. It was also to preserve the local culture and introduce it to the youngsters or the next generation. With this being said the youngsters will take a role in reserving it. 

Still according to him this event was meant to get the local to know more about PDM and Aisyiah community. With this being said it was expected that this event will bring a good chance yo the local community and PDM to sit together. 

Festival Heritage was also meant to bring a fresh air towards local tourism industry. It also meant to boost the local evonomy where during this kind of event there will loads of Local MSMe joining. From food vendors to daily necessity products like groceries, cloths, make up and everything will be displayed during this Festival Heritage of Malang. (*)
